Dyker Heights and Bayridge, Brooklyn, aren’t the neighborhoods that are known for trouble but they are currently areas of investigation for prostitution. The New York Times has reported that there has been 19 arrests for the running of 12 day spas (one pictured above) that were used as fronts for paid sexual services. The rate of new businesses as such in the area was quite alarming and brought some attention to the usually harmless neighborhoods.

Out of 19 parlors in the area, 12 were investigated and resulted in the arrest of 15 women and 4 men...
