We’re sure whoever runs the Twitter account for Yahoo! Finance just lost their job after the popular brand accidentally published one of the worst typos in the history of American journalism on Thursday night.
Not only did they post the typo, but the tweet was posted long enough to receive massive amounts of retweets before they finally deleted it.
The news site was promoting a story, titled “Trump Wants A Much Bigger Navy: Here’s How Much It’ll Cost,” regarding President-elect Donald Trump’s intentions to boost the size of the U.S. Navy.
But instead of writing “bigger,” well, you can figure out the rest.
Overnight, and after at least 2,800 retweets, Yahoo Finance deleted the tweet, but not before it became a trending topic.
