Tyga attempted to pull a Beyoncé and Drake by dropping  a surprise album on Spotify late Friday night.

However, unfortunately for Kylie’s boyfriend nobody seemed to notice or care as his streams and sales were nothing short of dismal.

Tyga surprised fans with a surprise Spotify stream last Tuesday, but he, along with pretty much every famous friend in his rolodex, tweeted an iTunes link the following Friday. Even with the entire Kardashian clan behind them, and a DONDA designed cover, and Kanye West as executive producer, Tyga’s sales are dismal.

You’ll remember, Troy Ave dropped his Major Without a Deal on a Friday as well. In the same timespan, Troy Ave managed to sell 4,373 copies while—as of Wednesday morning—SoundScan reveals that Tyga, for his part, did…2,200. When we didn’t see his album on the Top 50 Album Sales Chart on HitsDailyDouble, we decided to check the number for ourselves.

Well Tyga wasn’t feeling the slander and took to Twitter to clear the air on his weak album sales.

Tyga know he a damn lie about those “millions of streams”!
