After her recent dismissal from daytime talk show “The Real”, singer Tamar Braxton took to “The Steve Harvey Morning Show” yesterday morning where she revealed the shocking moment she learned she was fired, and announced her new talk show plans.
On Vince taking the call from a producer when she was fired:
“Oh I’ve been meaning to call you,” Tamar says a producer told Vince over the phone. “We’re not going to have her back for the panel.”
On her reaction:
“My heart sunk into my shoes. I pretty much fell over. I loved going to work.”
Steve Harvey then excitedly announced that Tamar’s landed her own talk show courtesy of his East 112th Street Production company.
“We’re proud to announce that my production company has just signed Tamar Braxton to produce a talk show, TV series with Tamar Braxton.”
We’ve signed her to East 112th Street Productions for a new show.
We think she would make a great game show host, we think she would make a great new talk show host, we think that she has a reach in the millennial space that’s not out there on the superstar level that she brings to the table. […]
We proudly announce today that Tamar Braxton is already on her feet.”
