In 1985 Stevie Wonder was arrested for demonstrating outside the South African embassy in Washington D.C.. He was held in custody as a symbol of his commitment to the cause:
“They said I was disturbing the peace. I was singing.”, says Stevie.
Now, over 30 years later, Stevie continues his activism by saying during a recent concert, with predominantly white concert goers, that “All Lives Matter when Black Lives Matter”.
