Schoolboy Q Calls Alton Sterling Filmers Cowards in “THat Part” Black Hippy Remix [Audio]

Following the police shooting deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile that have sparked nationwide protests, LA rapper Schoolboy Q released the official Black Hippy remix to “That Part” where he calls the recorders of the Sterling shooting “cowards”.

The remix has verses from Q’s Black Hippy crew, Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock, and Ab-Soul, and includes a new verse from Q where he calls those filming the shooting “cowards.”

Since the release of the footage, many citizens and celebrities have taken to social media, news outlets, and even their streets to protest and speak out against the deaths of the innocent black men who were killed.

Schoolboy Q joined the ranks of celebrities speaking out about the Alton Sterling shooting, but aimed his focus on the people who recorded the incident and provided the footage to news outlets.

In his verse, he says “Gangbanging like we stand for something while Alton Sterling gettin’ killed for nothing / Two cowards in the car they just there to film / Saying black lives matter, should have died with him / Wrong n**** in yo hood, you gon’ ride on him / White n**** with a badge you gon’ let that slide? / Tell me how they sent that footage and slept that night? / I feel bad that my daughter gotta live this life.”
