The TidalX1020 concert was filled with an array of celebrity guest appearances.
Popular artist like Jay Z, Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, and Usher took the stage at the Barclays Center in celebration of Tidal’s one year anniversary.
Among the many performers was ATL rapper T.I. who brought out the cast of the popular Brooklyn-based web series “Money And Violence”. The cast has been receiving much praise since the release of the first season of the hit series. While many fans of the show have asked when we could expect to see Season 2, the show’s creator Mo finally announced the big news at Tidal X.
Mo had been photographed with Jay Z shortly after the cast’ interview on Mase Radio earlier this year. Many began to speculate what Hova intended on doing with the hit web series and now it’s known.
The cast of “Money and Violence” took to the stage at the Barclays Center to announce that the second season of their hit web series will be airing in 2016 on Tidal. No word yet if you’ll only be able to view the series on Tidal, but for those of us who can’t wait to watch the second season, it’s good to know that the show has now been placed in good hands.
Jay Z aims to give ownership to all artists who are under the Tidal trademark, and with Mo saying that he would only continue the show with a company who would let him keep creative control of his product, it looks like Tidal is the new home for “Money And Violence”.
Not bad for a few guys from Brooklyn and Queens who weren’t afraid to bring their idea to life and upload it online. Can’t wait to see season 2 of this hit show.
