In wake of the riots in Baltimore, rapper Meek Mill took to his Instagram to share some graphic images surrounding his encounters with police brutality during his past arrests.
While clapping back a Donald Trump for pulling the race card on Baltimore residents, Meek decided to share his evidence of harsh police misconduct. Meek’s pics alone prove that police do way more than necessary when arresting young Black men.
“Lips swollen …. Stitches in both swollen eyes! One of my braids ripped out! I weighed about 130 at the time And I was found guilty of assaulting cops! It’s clear 2 see I was punched and stomped by a few cops!,” wrote Meek as he posted a couple of pictures showing the cuts and scars he endured while under police custody.
The Philly emcee also recalled the time when he was 18 and handcuffed so tight his hand began bleeding and left permanent damage.
See the pics below.
We commend Meek for sharing his story, and helping shed light on the horrific truths that surround police officers dealings within the Black community.
Smh when will it end. #MakeAStatement
