The spotlight is on Khloe Kardashian, and she’s no longer trying to grin and bear it for the public.
The youngest Kardashian sister has been dealing with marital problems, and all eyes are on her and husband Lamar Odom’s every move.
While she previously took to Twitter to advise that if you “smile … no one will notice,” now she’s singing a different tune.
“As much as I wish I were made of steel … I’m not,” she wrote Sunday.
Still, she assures the public that her husband’s reported substance abuse and recent arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence won’t break her completely.
“I’m pretty damn close to it though hehe,” she added.
The 33-year-old NBA free agent, who has been married to Kardashian for nearly four years, was stopped by police Friday on the Los Angeles 101 Freeway after displaying “objective signs of intoxication and was unable to perform field sobriety tests as explained and demonstrated.”
Odom’s license was suspended for one year after he declined to submit to chemical tests after his arrest.
Friday, following his arrest, Odom and Kardashian reportedly arrived home in separate cars, and the couple have not been photographed together as of recent.
“The addiction has taken over their marriage,” a source previously told Us Weekly. “The problem is cocaine. He would be high for three or four days at a time.”
Not even a week before his DUI arrest, Odom had a car accident with two other vehicles on the same freeway on which he was allegedly caught driving drunk.
Despite Khloe’s attempt at staying strong and facing her marriage woes head on, the Kardashian clan has her back and may not necessarily want to see her stand by her man.
It was previously reported by the Daily News’ Confidential that the matriarch of the family, Kris Jenner, had a two-hour powwow with celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser amid all the Odom chaos.
