Kanye West Talks His Unborn Son, Kardashians Deserving An Emmy, Yeezy Boost, & More [Video]

The hip hop/fashion god, Kanye West sat down for an unedited, live interview yesterday morning with Lou Stoppard of SHOWStudio where Yeezy discussed EVERYTHING!

The two-hour exclusive interview was filled with typical Kanye moments of laughter, rants, cockiness, and more rants.

Take a look at some of what he had to say below.

“[I’m] so, so, so, so happy. And I’m happy for the normal reasons to be happy, because I married the woman of my dreams and I have a beautiful daughter and so many beautiful people around me,” Kanye tells Stoppard.

On being a “creative genius”:

All of my aspirations are things that currently only 60-year-old White people do. So I have to redefine and let people know exactly who I am.”

On his Yeezy Season sneakers:

“We want to make Christmas presents. We want to make something people want so bad that it hurts them if they can’t have it. It’s not just a financial opportunity.”

On Black people:

“Blacks – especially in America – have been raised with a slave mentality and don’t feel they have the right to speak as loud as possible.”

On his unborn son:

“I don’t have a name for him, but what I hope for him is that he can feel purpose.”

On running for President:

“It had been talked about, you know, a lot. Like, for the past five years…I don’t have all the answers right now.”

On Multiracial People:

“The world is mixing, period. In 1,000 years, the world might just be completely what would be known as Black currently, but just be a new race…I see the future as people being mixed. Like, I think that other races are really attracted to each other and always have been…Just by me naming different races together and having the idea that a women is saying that she’s mixed with these [different races], you picture – automatically – someone beautiful.”

On Frank Ocean:

“He’s one of the greatest writers of all time…He broke ground.”

On the Kardashian/Jenner Clan:

“I feel proud to be in a family that has so many people breaking ground for all the generations to come…my wife and her family should have plenty of Emmys right now.”
