Slaughterhouse emcee Joe Budden recently “slaughtered” Drake and his latest album “Views From The 6″.
We recently reported on the dismal reviews Drizzy has been receiving from his latest studio effort, but Joe Budden pretty much sums up everyone’s thoughts and then some!
Budden praised Drake’s producer Noah “40” Shebib, for his work on the album, but accused Drake of sounding “uninspired” while saying that his music does not progress.
“I think that the kid on that album that I heard sounds real fuc*ing uninspired. That’s what I think. I think that the music is real good…..40 you sound amazing. Drake you do not.”
“Have we seen Drake peak? I think that question has been floating around the universe for a little while,” Budden said. “If I go in deep, I start with the mumblings of a Weeknd/Drake beef. I’m going that far back, because I’m putting the peak — if I’m taking that side of the argument — I’m putting the peak at Take Care. All I know that happened after that is that The Weeknd left, and I know that The Weeknd has done rather f***ing well since leaving.”
Budden proceeded to say how he “misses the old Drake” saying, “I miss the Drake that starts the waves, not hops on other waves”.
It was a passionate album review to say that least, but watch the full review below.
