Former Chicago Police Department Superintendent Garry McCarthy dedicated the first day of 2017 to throw some major shade at the Black Lives Matter movement.
During an interview on The Cats Roundtable radio show, the former cop spoke of the “lawlessness” and “legitimized non-compliance” that BLM has fostered in wake of Chicago ending 2016 with an even higher murder rate than they had the year before.
“So what’s happening, and this is ironic, is that a movement with the goal of saving black lives at this point is getting black lives taken, because 80 percent of our murder victims here in Chicago are male blacks.” said McCarthy.
