The same night Funkmaster Flex released Meek Mill’s diss track, “Wanna Know”, the veteran Hot 97 DJ also dropped three new alleged reference tracks for Drake.
The longtime DJ had previously got the streets riled up when he called Drizzy out on Twitter for allegedly not being the original creator for some of his biggest hits.
Flex released alleged reference tracks for “Used To,” “Know Yourself,” and his verse on Meek Mill’s “R.I.C.O.” Flex told his listeners,
“Rappers who have reference tracks cannot claim ‘king. I didn’t make that rule. If you’re wearing that crown, you better write. If you don’t write, you don’t have that crown.”
The tracks feature the alleged ghostwriter Quentin Miller, whom has remained neutral in the current Meek Mill vs. Drake rap beef.
Take a listen to the reference tracks below.
Its crazy to know that Drake isn’t the one originally writing some of his biggest hits.
What do you think after hearing the reference tracks?
