Eminem dropped the official music video for his single “Headlights” featuring Fun.’s Nate Ruess on Mother’s Day.
The video, directed by Spike Lee, is shot POV style from that of the rapper’s estranged mother. Eminem’s relationship with his mother was told on some of his biggest hits including “Cleaning Out My Closet.”
Eminem shows a softer side of his mother as he shares her sacrifices and struggle in their relationship.
This video is pretty deep, and it’s amazing to see Eminem’s personal growth reflected through his music.
