Only days after DJ Funkmaster Flex dropped an alleged reference track for Drake’s “10 Bands,” and the legendary Hot 97 DJ is already warning that he plans to release more reference tracks that were allegedly given to Drizzy.
Funkmaster Flex said that he’s planning to drop the reference track for his verse on Meek Mill’s “R.I.C.O.,” the track that started all of the ghostwriting rumors, another reference track for Drake’s verse on “Blessings”, and a reference track for Drake’s “Know Yourself”.
Meek sparked the ghostwriting rumors after originally tweeting out that he heard Drake didn’t write his verse for their song on “Dreams Worth More Than Money”. Soon after Flex added fuel to the fire after posting a snippet of Quentin Miller, the alleged ghostwriter, rapping the beginning lines of Drake’s smash hit “10 Bands.”
Over the weekend Flex took to Twitter to address the critics who think he’s unfairly targeting Drake, and even warned that he will be releasing more reference tracks for the OVO rapper.
Check out Flex’s twitter rant below.
We can’t wait to see how Drake responds to this!
Do you think Funk Flex makes a valid point? Can Drake be considered the greatest when he gets songs given to him?
Flex only named 3 reference tracks. Where’s the reference tracks for all of Drake’s other Billboard-charting hits?!
