Destiny’s Child Reunion Tour & Album Being Blocked By Matthew Knowles

According to reports, after obtaining their own personal successes, and putting on amazing performances together since their breakup, the ladies of Destiny’s Child are considering reconnecting for a stellar, 10-year reunion tour.

It’s also reported that the highly celebrated trio also plans on releasing another group album, but this may all have to be done under a different group name.

Beyonce’s father Mathew Knowles owns one-fourth of the group, and has legal rights over any profits the three ladies receive as Destiny’s Child. Although Mathew is Bey’s father and former manager to the Grammy-award winning group, the ladies want nothing to do with him, and refuse to put any money in his pocket.

Since the trio refuses to work with Matthew, the reunion tour and album keeps getting postponed. A source connected to the group tells the Daily Mail, “The problem is they can’t figure out how to nix Mathew from the deal. They all want more than anything to give the fans one last run of the group, especially since they all have their own individual success, but don’t want to deal with Mathew.”

Mathew is out selling old Destiny’s Child memorabilia in garage sales for money, so there’s no way he would allow the group to cut any deals without him being paid his portion.

“At best they maybe could offer him a flat rate or one-time settlement to buy out his portion of the group, but otherwise we may never get a Destiny’s Child reunion because none of them want him to benefit financially,” the source added.
