Chris Brown Wins Partial Custody of Daughter Royalty & Name Change

Chris Brown and his daughter’s mother, Nia Guzman are both all smiles after a judge reached a final decision over the custody of their 1-year-old baby Royalty.

TMZ reports that Chris was granted joint physical and legal custody of his baby girl, which allows him to get his daughter unsupervised for 12 days out of each month. Royalty’s name has also been changed where she is now officially a Brown. Both parents agreed that she’ll take on Chris’ surname, with no middle name.

Nia will continue to receive $2,500 a month in child support, as well as $15k in back support. Breezy will also cover the costs for Royalty’s schooling, health insurance, medical bills and all caretakers.

Chris did test positive for marijuana and codeine, however the judge allowed Chris to slide after he was able to provide prescriptions for each substance.

Chris and Nia both took to social media to share their excitement with the verdict.
