Earlier this morning, Birdman gave the shortest interview ever on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club morning show.
Birdman, who has been discussed frequently in recent months on The Breakfast Club given his highly publicized legal issues with former protege Lil Wayne, a violent bus shooting incident that resulted in an indictment that implicated he and Young Thug were involved with Wayne’s bus being shot up, and tabloid reports regarding a romance turned messy with him and singer Keyshia Cole.
It was on The Breakfast Club that rapper Rick Ross, who was formerly considered a close friend of Birdman for much of his career, shot down the Cash Money Records founder, saying that after witnessing what he’d allegedly been putting Lil Wayne through (Wayne accused Baby of unfairly withholding his new album and his paychecks for his music and all of his Young Money artists) Ross said that he “can’t respect that.” That interview quickly went viral.
But this morning, Baby let all his anger out on the three Breakfast Club hosts before he even sat down to be interviewed, telling them to “stop playing with his name.” When he finally sat down, Charlamagne Tha God began asking Birdman what the beef was about, and Baby became more agitated, and engaged in a brief back-and-forth with Charlamagne before deciding that the interview was over. He quickly stalked out of the room with his entourage, and that was that.
Birdman further solidifies that he’s really from the streets.
