Beyonce is about to have all of us getting into “Formation” at the gym with her new active wear line!
Beyonce debuted her new clothing line Thursday morning, revealing the news with a YouTube video showing the pop megastar in chic ath-leisure wear. The new line will be available beginning April 14, according to the Ivy Park website.
The athletic-inspired line will be available online through Topshop, Nordstrom and Hudson Bay, among other retailers overseas. The full list is available on the Ivy Park website.
“I would wake up in the morning, and my dad would be knocking on my door, telling me it’s time to go running. I remember wanting to stop, but I would push myself to keep going. It taught me discipline, and I would think about my dreams. I would think about the sacrifices my parents made for me. I would think about my little sister and how I was her hero,” Beyonce says in the video. “I would look at the beauty around me, the sunshine through the trees. I would keep breathing.”
“There are things I’m still afraid of. When I have to conquer those things, I still go back to that park. Before I hit the stage, I go back to that park. When it was time for me to give birth, I went back to that park. The park became a state of mind. The park became my strength. The park is what made me who I am. Where’s your park?”
The clothing line is the result of a partnership with Topshop owner Sir Philip Green and Beyonce through a joint-venture company, Parkwood Topshop Athletic Ltd., according to Women’s Wear Daily.
The clothing industry publication first broke news of the collaboration in October 2014.
Beyonce is expected to release a new album sometime in April, following up on the February release of the single, “Formation.”
