BET Founder Meets With Donald Trump & Says African-Americans Have Something to Gain [Video]

BET founder Bob Johnson discusses his meeting with President-elect Donald Trump.

In an interview with CNN’s Erin Burnett Monday, BET co-founder Bob Johnson described his recent meeting with Donald Trump and says that he believes African Americans have something to gain under a Trump administration, as well as African Americans not feeling obligated to associate themselves with only one political party.

Johnson also says that he told Trump he should not tell the Black community “what do you have to lose”, instead he should show us “what we have to gain under a Trump Presidency”.

He admitted to being a longtime friend and supporter the Clintons but believes that African Americans shouldn’t be locked into a single political party.
