A$AP Rocky has been really repositioning himself from a Harlem rapper to a fashion icon. We last saw him in a high fashion spread with ex-girlfriend Chanel Iman for Vogue magazine, and now the rapper has scored another collaboration with a reputable designer.
Notable fashion designer Salvatore Ferragamo is celebrating their 100 year anniversary, and the Italian brand has tapped four men to be featured in their “A Man’s Story” project.
Rocky teamed up with Douglas Booth, Henrik Lundqvist and Ryan McGinley for a feature spread and commercial. When discussing the collaboration Rocky told Fashionista “I understood how much of an influence I had was when I would walk around Harlem, Downtown and Soho and always get stopped, complimented or questioned about my attire.”
